TG League.

 

The Tracked Golf League is a team-based competition consisting of 8 weekly rounds of 2-player teams, followed by a finals series. The top 4 teams will advance to the finals.

Each team will have a 2-hour window to play their round.

Format:

  • 8 rounds, Two-Man Better Ball Stableford
  • Teams: 2 players
  • Prizes: Huge cash jackpots for the top 3 teams
  • Fees: $60 (team of 2) per player, per round
  • $30 registration fee per player

Handicaps:

Each player requires an individual handicap, which is based on: a) An official Golf Australia handicap. b) An assessment of the player’s abilities, at the discretion of the Tracked Golf League Coordinator.

PRIZES

Grand Finals Jackpot Distribution:

20% of all team entry fees from the 8-week league (excluding finals) will make up the total jackpot for the top 3 teams in the grand finals:

  • 1st Place Team: 50% of the jackpot.
  • 2nd Place Team: 30%.
  • 3rd Place Team: 20%.

Maximum Jackpot:

If more than 20 teams join the league, with each contributing an average of $1,000 in entry fees over 8 weeks, the maximum jackpot will be $4,000. If fewer than 20 teams participate, 20% of the total entry fees will determine the jackpot.

– Tracked Golf will provide weekly updates of the jackpot amount at the reception and on social media.

Hole-in-One Jackpot Adjustment:

  • Hole-in-One Prize: If a hole-in-one occurs during the 8-week league, 10% of the total jackpot will be awarded to the winner(s).
  • Multiple Winners: If multiple players achieve a hole-in-one, they will share this 10%.
  • Adjusted Jackpot: The grand finals jackpot will be reduced by the 10% awarded to the hole-in-one winner(s) before being distributed among the top 3 teams.
Example Scenario:
 
  • League Participation: 20 teams join, each contributing an average of $1,000 in entry fees over 8 weeks.
  • Total Jackpot: $4,000 (20% of $20,000).
Without a Hole-in-One Winner:
 
  • 1st Place Team: $2,000.
  • 2nd Place Team: $1,200.
  • 3rd Place Team: $800.
With a Hole-in-One Winner:
 
  • Hole-in-One Prize: $400 (10% of $4,000).
  • Remaining Jackpot: $3,600.
  • 1st Place Team: $1,800.
  • 2nd Place Team: $1,080.
  • 3rd Place Team: $720.
